According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lam district, responding to the movement "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" launched by the city, environmental sanitation and public lighting systems on roads, village roads, and alleys in the district have been significantly improved, ensuring security and order and facilitating people's traffic. On village roads, more trees have been planted, environmental sanitation is organized periodically, minimizing the situation of littering.

In particular, many people have applied the model of sorting waste at source, limiting the use of plastic bags and replacing them with environmentally friendly products, creating a ripple effect, forming green living habits in the community.

The delegation directly inspected 2 models in Da Ton commune. That is: The model of the Front Working Committee of Thuan Ton village mobilizes the Nguyen alley community to build a civilized, clean alley and socialize the construction of a community playground. To implement this model, the Front Working Committee of the village mobilized people to contribute funds to build a community playground, embank the pond, pour concrete, build fences, plant flowers, shade trees, lighting, and alley sports equipment to serve community activities with an area of over ^600m2 ^. Each person in the village contributed 500,000 VND and called on individuals to support with an amount of 271 million VND and hundreds of working days.

Up to now, the project has been completed and put into use, highly appreciated by the people, practically serving the people's lives. Along with that, people actively maintain the general environmental sanitation of village roads and alleys on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and garbage disposal on time and in the right place is strictly implemented.

The second model is: Khoan Te Village Front Committee mobilizes cadres, party members and people in the village to socialize the construction of a "bright, green, clean, beautiful and civilized" road. To implement this model, the Village Front Committee cooperates with relevant agencies to fill the ground with ^300m3 , build a stone embankment next to the lake, build a railing on the lake side (140m long), mobilize 100 working days, and the total cost of the road is 705 million VND.

The completed route has created a unified, spacious, modern and civilized landscape, a harmonious combination of the communal house, temple, pagoda, 2 lakes, and rows of trees creating a cool green space, convenient traffic, beautiful, harmonious and balanced landscape.
