The program recreates the heroic historical journey, from the moment of explosion when Hanoi received the news of victory, the boiling atmosphere in Saigon on April 30, 1975, to the picture of Vietnam in the period of integration and development.
Music plays a key role in conveying emotions, with classic works such as Mother Loves Child, Liberation of the South, Spring in Ho Chi Minh City , Like Uncle Ho in the Great Victory Day... newly arranged, combining famous artists and the younger generation of artists such as Dong Hung, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Oplus group...

In particular, the program bears the deep imprint of VOV, the press agency that directly broadcast the historic victory news on April 30, 1975. Reports and memories from historical witnesses, veterans and veteran journalists will help the audience, especially the younger generation, better understand the value of independence, freedom and peace .
Journalist Pham Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of VOV, said: “With a large scale of organization and carefully invested content, Triumphant Song is not simply an art program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. This is an important milestone, contributingto educating the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation, arousing patriotism, awareness of preserving and promoting the achievements of the previous generation that have worked hard to build."
In addition to musical performances, the program is also an opportunity for historical witnesses, veterans, artists, and veteran journalists who witnessed or participated in the moment of April 30, 1975 to share their profound memories through reports. Through this, the program helps viewers, especially today's young generation, to more truly feel the value of peace, independence, and freedom, things that seem obvious but had to be exchanged for blood and bones.
People's Artist Quoc Hung, the program's general director, said: " The Triumphal Song is not only an art program, but also a symphony of gratitude, connecting the past with the present, arousing pride and responsibility in every Vietnamese person."
The Triumphal Song program is also an important highlight in the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Voice of Vietnam (September 7, 1945 - September 7, 2025).
