The Department of Economics was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense to preside over the implementation of the Exhibition Area of achievements in building the people's armed forces and building the national defense from December 19-22, in Hanoi.
The event took place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day. The exhibition area was organized to contribute to widely promoting the glorious tradition and achievements in the 80-year journey of building and growing the Vietnam People's Army and the national defense. This is an opportunity to honor the heroic army in wartime and peacetime, affirming the role of a strong national defense as well as the glorious revolutionary cause of the country. Thereby contributing to arousing national pride and raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, soldiers and people in the cause of building the national defense and the people's armed forces. Along with that, the exhibition area introduced to international friends the 80-year tradition and achievements of the Vietnam People's Army in performing three functions and tasks: combat - work - production; Contribute to strengthening international cooperation, promoting the transfer of scientific and technological advances, promoting and introducing products and brands of military units and enterprises to the world. The exhibition takes place from December 19-22 at Gia Lam Airport.Highlights of the exhibition area of achievements in building the people's armed forces and building a national defense The exhibition area is designed with a tight layout, summarizing typical milestones in the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army. This is a space full of historical significance, with a scale of 7,000m2 with many functional subdivisions. The area introduces the traditions and achievements of the Vietnam People's Army, recreating typical historical milestones in the process of building, fighting and growing. This place introduces the three functions of "Combat Army, Work Army and Production Labor Army" along with achievements in training and combat readiness, building a regular, elite and modern army. The application of many advanced modern technologies such as interactive touch screens, 3D Mapping models, holograms (3D recording techniques), VR virtual reality and sound and light effects creates a vivid and intuitive space. Touch screens help access information, videos, digital images, VR glasses bring a vivid and flexible experience of cyberspace. Products of agencies, units, and enterprises belonging to Military Regions, Military Services, Arms, General Departments, Army Corps, along with typical corporations and companies such as the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ), Saigon Newport Corporation, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank... At the same time, the area is also a space for trading, displaying national brand products, regional specialties, traditional craft villages, technology applications and digital transformation models of ministries, departments, branches as well as provinces, cities, and typical economic groups of the country such as Vietnam Airlines , Vinfast, etc. Here, visitors have the opportunity to participate in demonstration activities and experience creating traditional products with artisans. The exhibition area on cyberspace introduces images, artifacts and documents on the Vietnam People's Army's participation in building and developing the country's socio -economy and national defense. All are digitized in 2D and 3D images, uploaded to cyberspace, applying advanced technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to vividly and accurately display products, documents and artifacts. Trade between domestic and international units and enterprises takes place on cyberspace, creating opportunities for information exchange, experience sharing and seeking opportunities for business cooperation, technology transfer and investment promotion.
