Miss Ý Nhi reveals her preparation process for Miss World 2025

When announced as Vietnam's representative to compete in Miss World 2025, how did Miss Ý Nhi perceive this responsibility and opportunity?

- I really feel lucky and grateful to my father Nam (director Hoang Nhat Nam - PV), mother Dung (Mrs. Pham Kim Dung - President of Miss World VietNam) and the management company for giving me the opportunity to participate in the 72nd Miss World. And I understand that everyone has a representative they want to come to this beauty contest. Therefore, when I was the lucky one to be chosen, I have been and will try my best not to disappoint the trust that everyone has placed in me.

Has Miss Ý Nhi ever thought that she would no longer have the opportunity to represent Vietnam in international beauty contests because of the scandal after her coronation?

- From the moment I was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023, I have cherished and prepared myself mentally to prepare and try my best at Miss World. However, there were unexpected events that happened, and I also had many different thoughts during that time. But because of the love and unconditional support of my relatives, management company and beloved audiences, it was a great motivation. This helped me feel confident and told myself to try to change and make serious efforts.

Even if at the 72nd Miss World, if I am not chosen by the Miss World Vietnam Organizing Committee to compete, I will still try my best for the upcoming competition because of the title I have, because of the opportunity I missed, because of the love, because of the trust that many people have for me at Miss World Vietnam 2023.

This is the first time a beauty queen who is studying abroad has had the opportunity to compete in Miss World. What advantages does Miss Ý Nhi see for herself compared to other Vietnamese representatives who have participated in this contest but only studied and worked in the country?

- For me, the Vietnamese representatives in previous years were all very talented and courageous. This is probably also an advantage for me when I have many opportunities to approach and learn from the experiences they have had after previous competitions. Studying abroad has given me a good environment to practice English, perhaps this is also a blessing that I have had.

Some say that Miss Ý Nhi is facing two major disadvantages when competing in the 72nd Miss World. First, Miss Ý Nhi has to balance studying, working part-time and preparing for the Miss World contest. Second, she has to carry out a charity project - an important part of the Miss World contest while she is in Australia. Does Miss Ý Nhi have any way to overcome these disadvantages?

- Regarding the balance between studying, working and preparing for the competition, I currently have a not-so-short amount of time to prepare until the 72nd Miss World begins. For me, I still have enough energy to balance these three things. But that doesn't mean I'm neglecting my preparation for the Miss World competition. I'm still practicing and studying every day to improve my knowledge. I still have online classes with my trainers, I go to Pilates on the weekends to keep in shape and always eat well to stay healthy.

With the charity project, I think the implementation time is not as important as the quality, investment, love and compassion I put into my project to bring to the 72nd Miss World. Currently, my charity project has been and is being implemented step by step, in the near future, my team and I will have an official announcement to everyone.

According to Miss Ý Nhi, what is the biggest obstacle and difficulty that you need to overcome when becoming a representative at the 72nd Miss World?

- For me, during the preparation for the competition, it is inevitable that I will be overloaded and stressed, but that does not discourage me. No matter what obstacles or difficulties I encounter, I think they are lessons to help me develop and improve.

Miss Ý Nhi: "My goal is the Miss World 2025 crown"

Among the beauty queens who have "fought" at Miss World such as: Miss Mai Phuong, Do My Linh, Tran Tieu Vy, Luong Thuy Linh... If you had to choose which competition, which beauty queen's performance impressed Y Nhi the most and needed to learn from, who would you choose?

- I have watched and followed the journey of you and each Vietnamese representative at Miss World, I think I want to learn from everything instead of choosing someone or a competition. You have performed very well in many competitions, even in competitions where our country was not lucky enough to "enter the top" in a certain year, you still have experience for that competition. So I will be a little "greedy" and would rather learn everything than miss anything.

Are there any Miss or Runner-up that Miss Ý Nhi has been close to, confided in, given advice to, and encouraged you with since your coronation until now?

- When it comes to this, I feel lucky, the team is very warm and the sisters, Miss and Runner-up are all very affectionate. I feel like it is my second home. The sisters always support and cheer me on after the coronation. Everyone also often texts to ask about my health and study situation when I go to Australia. And when I was announced to participate in the 72nd Miss World, everyone also congratulated me and gave me advice to improve when coming to the competition.

Miss Mai Phuong's achievement in the Top 40 Miss World made many people regret and expect Miss Y Nhi to surpass this achievement. Does Y Nhi personally feel sorry for Mai Phuong and is she pressured to surpass her senior?

- When participating in Miss World Vietnam 2023, I had conversations with Ms. Mai Phuong (Miss Mai Phuong - PV). After being crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023, I talked to her many times. I know her efforts and determination for the 71st Miss World. She always practiced and studied hard from the time of preparation to the time of participating in the contest. But I understand that having a strong representative does not mean that other countries are not like that. Therefore, no matter what achievements Ms. Mai Phuong achieves, I am very respectful and proud.

I don't feel too much pressure from everyone's expectations for me when I participate in the 72nd Miss World. Because I think everyone's expectations are like a reminder for me to try harder every day.

What is the ranking and goal at the 72nd Miss World that Miss Ý Nhi wants?

- When entering any contest, I think the mindset of the contestant will always be the highest title. And so do I, I set myself the goal of the green crown Miss World. That is also the great motivation, urging me to practice hard, study every day to perfect myself when coming to the 72nd Miss World.
