Phung Chau Primary School (Phung Chau Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi) was established in 1957. In 1979, there was a policy to merge primary and secondary schools into a junior high school, and from 1986 it was separated into a primary school (TH) as it is today.
Over the past time, with the attention of leaders at all levels, the close direction of the People's Committee of Chuong My district; Department of Education and Training; Party Committee, People's Committee of Phung Chau commune, especially the attention of parents; Phung Chau Primary School has continuously grown and become a bright spot in teaching and learning in Chuong My district.

At Phung Chau Primary School, we see the enthusiasm, solidarity, and high responsibility in educating and teaching students of the school's teachers; not only that, the teachers here also have a lot of experience in professional work and class management. The majority of teachers have been working for 10 years or more, with solid professional qualifications. Good moral qualities, loved by students and trusted by parents.
The school has focused on developing the team of teachers and managers, ensuring sufficient quantity, standardizing training levels, synchronizing structure, and improving quality according to professional standards. At the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, the school built a team development plan, a school development plan for the period up to 2025 to have a roadmap for developing the team of teachers and students to ensure sufficient quantity, standardizing training levels, and synchronizing structure.
Currently, Phung Chau Primary School has 43 teachers. Of these, 38/43 are excellent teachers at the school level; reaching a rate of 88.3%. 25/31 are excellent homeroom teachers at the school level, reaching a rate of 80.6%.
In addition, with the attention of the local government, the school's facilities have been invested in and equipped to serve teaching and learning activities relatively fully, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education comprehensively and stably. However, although the facilities have been supplemented, they still do not meet the requirements of general education reform, there is a lack of classrooms, the school yard is narrow, there is no practice ground - this has been a long-standing concern of the school's leaders.

Overcoming difficulties, the school has successfully organized the day for all children to go to school. Specifically, mobilizing 6-year-old children to go to first grade: 229/229 children, reaching 100%. Along with that, the efficiency of collecting and managing data on universal education work is improved.

Teaching and learning are given special attention and importance by Phung Chau Primary School. Notably, in the 2022-2023 school year, primary education will implement the 2018 general education program (CTGDPT) for grades 1, 2, and 3 and the 2006 CTGDPT for grades 4 and 5.
Based on the 2018 General Education Program for grades 1, 2 and 3; the current General Education Program for grades 4 and 5, the school has proactively developed and implemented an educational plan oriented towards developing students' qualities and abilities, ensuring full implementation of the content of compulsory subjects and educational activities; selecting optional educational content and developing educational activities suitable to the needs of students and the conditions of the school.
Along with that, ensure reasonable allocation between educational content, requirements of the program, helping students complete their learning tasks. The timetable is arranged and organized scientifically and appropriately.
Implementing the General Education Program for grades 4 and 5 (Decision 16/2006/QD-BGDDT dated May 5, 2006, promulgating the General Education Program), Phung Chau Primary School has developed and implemented an educational plan for grades 4 and 5 in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities according to the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 4612/BGDDT-GDTrH dated October 3, 2017: Developing an educational plan to ensure full implementation of the content of compulsory subjects and educational activities, selecting optional educational content and developing educational activities suitable to the needs of students and the conditions of the school and locality; ensuring the school's initiative and flexibility in developing and implementing a 2-session/day teaching plan; complying with pedagogical principles and methods to promote positivity, initiative, and self-awareness suitable to the age of primary school students.

With the continuous efforts of the leadership, teachers and students, in the 2022-2023 school year, Phung Chau Primary School has achieved many commendable achievements. In particular, the typical achievement (District level and above) is that in competitions, the school always has many students winning high prizes. Compared to the same period of the previous school year, there was an increase of 94 prizes.
Comrade Trinh Duy Oai - Vice Chairman of Chuong My District People's Committee presented gifts to students on the occasion of the new school year opening ceremony.
Specifically, in the English Olympic competition, the school won 15 prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 2 consolation prizes.
At the Vioedu math competition, the school won 81 prizes including 07 gold medals, 09 silver medals and 20 bronze medals.
At the Timo international math competition, Phung Chay Primary School won 18 awards including: 01 gold medal, 07 silver medals, 09 bronze medals.
In particular, in the 2022-2023 school year, Phung Chau Primary School was awarded a certificate of merit by the Standing Committee of the Chuong My District Party Committee: For its outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution 29-NQ/TW, dated November 4, 2013 of the Central Executive Committee of the Party (11th tenure).
