(Dan Tri) - On the eve of Lunar New Year, Vietnamese embassies in countries around the world are bustling with activities to welcome the new year.
On the evening of January 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos solemnly held a reception to celebrate the Party, celebrate the country's renewal, and celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025.
The reception was attended by more than 400 guests, including senior leaders of the Lao Party and State. Also attending the reception were many representatives of the Vietnamese community in Laos, agencies affiliated with the Embassy and all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos.

Previously, on the evening of January 13, in the capital Vientiane, the General Association of Vietnamese in Laos solemnly organized a Community Tet to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025 with the reunion of nearly 1,000 Vietnamese people from all provinces/cities in Laos. This is the first community Tet organized by the General Association of Vietnamese in Laos.

Despite being tens of thousands of kilometers away from their homeland, staff at the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela brought the traditional Tet atmosphere to the distant South American country.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia organized the program "Spring Homeland - Tet At Ty 2025" to connect the Vietnamese community abroad, bringing a corner of the homeland so that children living, working and studying in Russia who have not had the opportunity to return home to celebrate Tet can still feel happy and feel the warm, cozy atmosphere of the traditional Tet.

On January 16, in Washington DC, the Vietnamese Embassy in the US and Vietnamese Permanent Representative Agencies organized the 2025 Homeland Spring Community Tet program. This program is for the overseas Vietnamese community.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Dung hoped that the Vietnamese community in the US would actively participate and contribute to the era of national development, preserve cultural identity, promote patriotism, and become a positive bridge to bring the image of Vietnam to American and international friends. The Embassy is always ready to do its best to support our compatriots to further connect with their homeland and country.
On January 19, in the capital city of Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Vietnamese Embassy solemnly organized the Homeland Spring 2025 program to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty with the participation of more than 130 guests representing generations of overseas Vietnamese in Morocco, Vietnamese students studying abroad, and some Moroccan and international friends.

On January 22, the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden organized a traditional Chung cake wrapping activity on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. The cake wrapping event is not only an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to review the typical customs of Vietnamese Tet, but also provides an opportunity for generations of children born and raised abroad to better understand the national culture.

On January 19, the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania coordinated with the Vietnamese Association in Romania to organize the "Homeland Spring 2025" program in the capital Bucharest, with unique cultural and artistic performances.

On January 18, the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland organized a program to celebrate Lunar New Year - Welcome Spring At Ty 2025 with the participation of 200 overseas Vietnamese from many cities of Finland.
