The atmosphere of the final rehearsal of the parade before the preliminary rehearsal

(HTV) - On the evening of April 22, the second training session officially took place in a heroic and solemn atmosphere, mixed with the pride of a large number of people who came to watch.

Preparations for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day are in full swing. The second and final general rehearsal has just been completed, creating an important premise for the preliminary rehearsals on April 25 and the final rehearsal on April 27.

It is expected that after this general training session, the forces will have a preliminary rehearsal on April 25 and a final rehearsal on April 27.

The official parade will take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, with the participation of about 13,000 people.

This solemn parade is an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit and review the heroic history of the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, culminating in the victorious Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

Under the glorious flag of the Party and with the correct and creative people's war strategy, our people and army brought into full play the spirit of "lightning speed, boldness, surprise, sure victory", the iron will of "one day equals twenty years" and the combined strength of the entire nation, bringing the resistance war against the US to save the country to final victory at noon on April 30, 1975.

Under the glorious flag of the Party and the Fatherland, there is no difficulty that cannot be overcome.

This historic victory is a shining symbol of Vietnamese revolutionary heroism, the crystallization of the strength of great national unity, of the tradition of patriotism, indomitability and the will of self-reliance and self-improvement.

President Ho Chi Minh affirmed an objective and immutable truth: "Our people have a passionate love for the country. That is a precious tradition of ours."

The spirit and enthusiasm of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 will forever be a priceless spiritual legacy, adding strength and urging our entire Party, people and army today to unite as one, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully carry out the cause of building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, striving for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
