From early morning on November 9, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House was bustling with the festival atmosphere when many people were 'curious' to come and experience, and businesses had just set up their stalls to prepare for the opening of the Green Vietnam Festival.

In the vibrant space with the thumping music of young bands with "green" songs in the early morning of November 9, sustainable development staff of businesses participating in the exhibition at the Green Vietnam Festival were busy completing the final steps before "G" hour.
Ready to impress Green Vietnam
Hundreds of green gift products, recycled products, unique products made from environmentally friendly materials... have been displayed by businesses to attract tourists during the festival.
Placing flower pots made from recycled plastic bottles and aluminum shells on decorative shelves or large recycled dinosaur models, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - an employee of Alta Media Company - carefully checks each item, arranges them neatly, and is ready to impress visitors from early morning.
At the event, Alta Plastics will introduce the Recycle Depot system - a breakthrough solution for the recycling process when applying smart technology that can automatically identify, classify and collect old plastic bottles and empty aluminum cans.
According to Alta Plastics, the Recycle Depot solution encourages users to participate in recycling activities by earning points every time they donate plastic bottles and aluminum cans at the station.
"These reward points can be exchanged for exciting gifts, to motivate the community to participate in environmental protection activities.
With collected plastic bottles, Alta Plastics applies modern 3D printing technology to regenerate them into useful products," said an Alta Plastics representative.

From 6:45 a.m., reader Nguyen Thi Thuy (60 years old, living in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and her neighbors walked around the spaces at the festival.
According to Ms. Thuy, because her house is near the Youth Cultural House, she knew about the festival since the units were still constructing the exhibition space. This morning, she took advantage of the opportunity to arrive early after exercising and decided to go with her family to experience the booths after the opening hours.
"I will bring my grandchildren to experience the game and educate them more about waste classification and environmental protection," said Ms. Thuy.
With the participation of more than 60 domestic enterprises and FDI "big guys", the Green Vietnam Festival will be a "party" for readers and visitors to experience and learn about countless green products, recycled and reusable products, contributing to promoting the trend of green production, green consumption and green lifestyle in the community.
The Green Vietnam Festival will be held on November 9 and 10, an annual event in the Green Vietnam project organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam) and other organizations.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Nguyen Trinh Thuy Trang - Deputy General Director of Coteccons - said that the Green Vietnam Festival is an opportunity for Coteccons to share and learn from partners, the community and society about environmental protection measures and sustainable development.
"Coteccons wants to create a green supply chain, from office to construction site, minimizing environmental impact through the 3R model and using renewable energy. Sustainable development is not only an economic goal, but also a commitment to society and our future," said Ms. Trang.
