Le Loi Street Food Space is an activity within the framework of the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival - 2024.
With 24 booths, the culinary space takes place for three days from May 31 to June 2, from 9am to 9pm, with a variety of dishes from many regions serving visitors with all kinds of dishes from traditional cakes, delicious fruits to typical specialties of the provinces.
On the evening of June 2, at the Western pancake stall, chefs continuously poured pancakes into a large pan. Although they had to line up to enjoy this dish, many diners were happy and satisfied with the quality.
Mr. Tran Quang Khai (owner of the Western pancake stall) shared that after three days of participating in the culinary space, he sold nearly 3,000 pancakes, everyone worked without stopping. On June 2 alone, as of 6pm, 800 pancakes were sold. The stall continued to prepare dough and ingredients to serve diners until 9pm.
Similarly, at the traditional Southern cake stalls, smoke billows from the kitchens when the number of customers who love this product is too large. The representative of artisan Huynh Ngoc Lan's cake stall said that they use large ovens to continuously heat up to bring hot, attractive cakes to visitors.
