On January 25, at the customs clearance area of landmark 1090-1091 Tan Thanh (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China), the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Van Lang District (Lang Son, Vietnam) coordinated with the City Party Committee and People's Government of Bang Tuong Town (Guangxi, China) to organize a cultural and artistic festival to celebrate the spring of border residents.
During the event, leaders of the two sides officially announced the restoration of immigration and exit activities at the Tan Thanh (Lang Son, Vietnam) - Po Chai (Guangxi, China) customs clearance, area of landmarks 1090-1091.
This is an important milestone, creating more conditions for the two sides to enhance people-to-people exchanges, expand tourism cooperation, and promote stable trade.
This is even more meaningful in the context of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and the Vietnam-China People's Exchange Year.
Leaders of Van Lang district and Bang Tuong town affirmed that the activities of exchange, contact, meeting and delegation exchange between Lang Son province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in general and the two districts and towns in particular are maintained, consolidated and deepened.
The two sides have agreed on many orientations for economic and trade development and border protection management, thereby deepening and enriching the cooperative relationship.
