As important "links" in the coal production and consumption chain of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV), the two key enterprises in the logistics sector, Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company and Da Bac Logistics Company, are striving to complete the 2024 production and business plan.
Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company implemented its production and business plan for the fourth quarter of 2024 with many difficulties, especially after storm No. 3 left huge consequences on the infrastructure, facilities as well as the production activities of the Company. However, the unit has made efforts with the motto of production coupled with continued overcoming, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment. Implementing the emulation movement of labor production for 90 days and nights in the fourth quarter, production units in the Company took advantage of favorable weather to maximize consumption to compensate for the lack of output due to the impact of storms and rain. The operating output in November 2024 reached 5.57 million tons, accumulated to 57.3 million tons, equal to 88.12% of the yearly plan. Of which, direct coal consumption reached 4.6 million tons, accumulated to 42.6 million tons, equal to 85.2% of the yearly plan. Average salary reached nearly 13.2 million VND/person/month. In December, units are expected to consume 6.7 million tons, of which 4.7 million tons are direct coal consumption.
Automobile Transport Workshop I is one of the typical units that makes the most of favorable conditions, overcomes difficulties to complete assigned tasks. In the context of sprinting to complete the annual target, many repair equipment serving circulation examination and high-level maintenance pose many difficulties for the workshop's repair department. The technical department and the unit's long-term experienced repair team reported, found solutions with specialized departments to have plans to prepare materials for timely and thorough repairs, ensure quality after repair, and quickly release vehicles to increase equipment mobilization productivity. Thanks to that, the equipment mobilization rate in the month is stable at 80-83%.
Mr. Tran Van Quang, Party Secretary, Director of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company, emphasized: December determines the production results of the whole year. The Company's leaders require units to closely follow the assigned plan, promote the spirit of emulation in 90 days and nights of production with the highest determination to boost consumption to achieve maximum output. At the same time, focus on acceptance and settlement, review costs in 2024, actively follow up on the implementation of construction investment projects, equipment for production to ensure progress and requirements; strictly implement regulations on safety, fire prevention and fighting, ensure security and order, protect mine boundary resources.
At Da Bac Logistics Company, the 90-day emulation campaign takes place from October 1 to December 31, 2024. To achieve 2.8 million tons of coal consumption in the fourth quarter, and 2.5 million tons of coal purchased from mines, the Company focuses on applying technical solutions, strengthening inspection, control, management, ensuring security and order in production, mobilizing maximum equipment, machinery, and human resources to receive coal for production companies and serving consumption well.
According to the leader of Da Bac Logistics Company, in 2024, the Company strives to operate and consume 11.7 million tons of coal. At the end of 11 months, coal consumption reached 9.88 million tons, coal in warehouse reached 10.38 million tons. Units in the Company are focusing on specific operations for each shift, each day, striving to exceed the target. The unit encourages employees to increase useful working time in each production shift, increase labor productivity, working days with the highest effort to complete the assigned plan.
