In the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution, the demand for talented, creative, and highly adaptable young leaders has never been greater. In response to this reality, The Future CEO 2024 (TFC Competition) has officially launched, promising to be a rewarding and challenging platform for young Vietnamese people. The competition targets high school students and college/university students nationwide aged 15 to 22.

The Future CEO competition is organized by the Vietnam Institute of Applied Sciences (VIPA). The competition is directed by Ambassador Ngo Quang Xuan – former Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Nations and former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee. The competition is expected to attract participation from over 50 universities and high schools nationwide.
With the theme "Leadership 4.0 - Adaptation and Innovation," the TFC 2024 competition aims to find outstanding young talents with innovative thinking, teamwork skills, and especially the ability to adapt to the rapid changes of the times. Contestants will go through three exciting rounds: the Preliminary Round (expected to take place from September 1st, 2024 to October 20th, 2024), the Semi-Final Round (expected to take place from October 28th, 2024 to November 3rd, 2024) in an online format, and finally, the Final Round (expected to take place in person in Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled for November 24th, 2024).
The outstanding finalists will be divided into teams by the Organizing Committee. Team members will work together to overcome four rounds of competition, including: Round 1 - Q&A on "Leadership Knowledge"; Round 2 - Presentation of Breakthrough Ideas; Round 3 - Persuasion - "Leadership Power"; and Round 4 - Leadership Arena - "Intellectual Arena".

To ensure compliance with the organizational criteria and program requirements, the Organizing Committee considered factors such as facilities, training quality, and the reputation and brand of the host institution. Based on these criteria, the Organizing Committee decided to select Van Lang University as the co-organizing partner and host for the Final Round of the "The Future CEO 2024" competition. Van Lang University not only fully meets the requirements regarding facilities for organizing the competition but also affirms its position as one of the leading universities in training high-quality human resources for the country.

Another unique aspect of TFC 2024 is the participation of CEOs and leaders from large and well-known businesses and corporations in Vietnam as judges.
