Launching the Charming Women of Binh Thuan contest

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just announced the launch of the first Binh Thuan Women's Charm Contest in 2023, with the target being female Vietnamese citizens, aged 18 - 30 (born 1993 - 2005), residing or living, studying, working and working in Binh Thuan province.

According to the contest regulations, contestants must be female citizens who are not married, have not registered their marriage, or have not given birth (contestants who have had a wedding according to traditional customs but have not registered their marriage are also not allowed to participate in the contest); be 1m65 or taller; have natural beauty; have not undergone cosmetic surgery on the face, body, or gender reassignment; have graduated from high school or higher; have no criminal record, are not under criminal prosecution or serving administrative discipline.

Regarding the application documents, contestants must submit their application documents to the Organizing Committee, including: Application form (according to the attached form of the Organizing Committee), certified by the agencies, units where they work or the local authorities where they reside; 1 photocopy of the citizen identification card (or birth certificate); 2 4x6 ID photos; 2 10x15 color portrait photos; 2 10x15 full-body photos (taken within the last 3 months, not technically processed); contact phone number (using Zalo application). Note: The application documents will not be returned once submitted to the Organizing Committee.

Registration period from now until October 15, 2023; Registration location: Candidates submit their application directly to the Department of Cultural Affairs (under the Cultural Center of Binh Thuan province, No. 11 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Binh Hung Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. The preliminary round will take place from October 25 to October 29 at HN Group Trading and Service Company Limited (364 Tran Hung Dao, Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan). Contestants will compete in two parts: performing in their chosen costumes and introducing themselves. Based on the judges' scores, the Organizing Committee will select the 40 contestants with the highest scores (from top to bottom) to participate in the semi-finals.

The semi-finals will take place from November 24 to November 25 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Binh Hung Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. Contestants will compete in two parts: Ao Dai performance and talent competition (contestants can choose one of the following categories: Singing, dancing, instrumental solo, pantomime, storytelling, poetry recitation, dance sport, martial arts performance...). The time for each contestant to perform their talent is from 5 to 7 minutes. Based on the scoring results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee will select 20 contestants with the highest scores (from top to bottom) to participate in the final round. At the same time, depending on the actual situation, the Organizing Committee may select fewer or more than 20 contestants for the final round.

The final round took place on December 31st at Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Binh Hung Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. Contestants competed in 3 parts: Swimsuit performance: Contestants performed in swimsuits.

The Organizing Committee selects the 10 contestants with the highest scores into the Top 10. Evening gown performance: The top 10 contestants perform evening gowns. The Organizing Committee selects the 5 contestants with the highest scores into the Top 5. Behavioral competition: The top 5 contestants perform behavioral competition. The contestants will draw lots to answer the questions of the Organizing Committee. The time to think and answer questions is from 3 to 5 minutes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also has a number of other regulations such as contestants must comply with the organizational and professional requirements set by the Organizing Committee. Before participating in the Contest, contestants must carefully read the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee. The presence of contestants in the Contest is considered as an automatic agreement to accept the regulations, decisions, and rules of the Organizing Committee. When participating in the Contest, contestants must wear beautiful costumes, not use costumes printed with logos, product brands or printed with foreign words. The Organizing Committee has the right to disqualify any contestant if their behavior, statements or personal ethical or lifestyle issues affect or harm the reputation of the contest.

The Organizing Committee may amend and supplement the regulations and rules to suit the actual situation of the Competition. The Organizing Committee will also consider and revoke the titles awarded to the contestants who have won the Competition's awards, if the contestants are found to have violated the provisions of Decree 144/2020/ND-C dated December 14, 2020 of the Government on regulations on performing arts activities.

The contest's award structure includes: Individual prizes (Top 10): 1 First Prize - Miss; 1 Second Prize - 1st Runner-up; 2 Third Prizes - 2nd Runner-up; 6 Encouragement Prizes. Consolation prizes: 1 "Contestant wearing the most beautiful Ao Dai" prize - Ao Dai beauty; 1 "Contestant wearing the most beautiful evening gown" prize - Evening gown beauty; 1 "Contestant wearing the most beautiful swimsuit" prize - Swimsuit beauty; 1 "Contestant showing the most impressive talent" prize - Talented beauty; 1 "Contestant performing the most impressive catwalk" prize - Catwalk beauty; 1 "Most favorite contestant" prize - Most favorite beauty (voted by the audience the most on the Binh Thuan Women's Charm Contest Fanpage).
