Arouse patriotism and responsibility of youth

As a socialist school for young people, in recent years, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed all levels of the provincial Youth Union to strengthen political and ideological education, revolutionary tradition education, patriotism, national pride and self-respect for young people. Propaganda work is carried out through online contests, propaganda articles on history, cultural and artistic activities, exchanges, seminars, etc.

The Youth Union at all levels actively propagated and raised awareness and responsibility of union members and young people in implementing the National Defense Strategy in the new situation, especially protecting the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands; deployed many important contents to participate in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against distortions and sabotage of hostile forces.

The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee directed the maintenance of the "Vinh Phuc Green Bamboo" website, regularly posting articles to fight and refute wrong and hostile viewpoints; at the same time directed the review and consolidation of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels of the Youth Union, promptly deploying the fighting orders according to the direction of the Central Youth Union and the Provincial Party Committee.

In 2024, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee organized a training conference and drill on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views for more than 200 delegates who are standing members of district, city and affiliated Youth Unions, and Youth Union Secretaries of communes, wards and towns throughout the province.

Steering Committee 35 of the Youth Union at all levels in the province has deployed to fight and take down more than 40 news, articles, and personal pages of hostile forces under the direction of the Central Youth Union.

The Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province organized many meaningful activities such as visiting, giving gifts, providing free medical examinations and medicine to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of policy beneficiaries, and former youth volunteers; cleaning and decorating martyrs' cemeteries; visiting and giving gifts to families of soldiers on duty at border posts, borders, and islands.

On the occasion of the annual War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the Youth Union at all levels in the province organizes many activities to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. In 2024, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee organized a candle-lighting ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs with the participation of more than 300 delegates who are members of the Veterans Association and members and youth of units in the province; organized a journey to the red address and offered incense to commemorate the Gac Ma soldiers at the Gac Ma Martyrs Memorial (Khanh Hoa province); visited and presented gifts to the families of war invalids and martyrs, and families with children working in the Truong Sa archipelago.

Along with that, at martyrs' cemeteries and martyrs' memorials in the province, the Youth Union at all levels organized incense offering and candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, and organized activities such as "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", and organized the program "Reunion meal, warm and loving" at the families of people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions...

The Youth Union at all levels actively implemented the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers", hanging maps of Vietnam in places with high educational value such as schools, libraries, offices, traditional rooms, and common rooms of the Youth Union, Association, and Team at all levels.

The activities of propaganda, education, and promotion of traditional cultural values ​​of the locality, country, region, and ethnic group are effectively implemented by the Youth Union at all levels with the activity "Journey to the red address", activities of recruiting team members and union members at bases, historical sites, organizing activities of offering incense and flowers at martyrs' cemeteries, memorials, and stele listing the names of heroic martyrs...

The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat have launched the project "Soul of Gratitude - The name of the hero shines forever" to commemorate, express gratitude and pay tribute to the national heroes who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The program presented portraits of heroic martyr Nguyen Viet Xuan and late Provincial Party Secretary Kim Ngoc, crafted and printed on high-quality ceramic tiles by Prime, to their families; presented portraits of leaders and national heroes to soldiers at Bach Long Vy Island, Truong Sa Lon Island, Dien Bien Provincial Museum, A1 Cemetery, To Vinh Dien, Be Van Dan, Phan Dinh Giot, Tran Can schools in Dien Bien province and many other localities across the country.

Through movements and activities, union members and young people gain a better understanding of the nation's heroic history, and appreciate and be grateful for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Promoting the tradition of patriotism, the aspiration for freedom, peace and development, Vinh Phuc youth strive to build a rich and powerful country, on par with the world powers as Uncle Ho instructed.
