Established in 2006, with 19 members, after many years of operation, Xuan Ang Cheo Singing Club now has 26 members. This is one of the effective folk art clubs, creating a healthy playground, with a strong influence on the mass art movement of Vinh Long commune. In the early years of establishment, the club faced many difficulties, lacking operating funds, musical instruments, and performance costumes. However, with the attention of the Party Committee, local authorities and people in the commune, especially the passion for traditional values of the members, the club has developed strongly, contributing to promoting the mass art movement of Vinh Long commune. In addition to practicing Cheo performances and excerpts for political events, holidays, and anniversaries of the commune and district, the club also "inspires" the younger generation in the commune to actively participate in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
Ms. Ha Thi Dien, Head of the Xuan Ang Cheo Singing Club, said: Although the members are of different ages, they have in common a passion for the art of Cheo and a desire to preserve and promote traditional cultural values. During the day, they work hard, and at night, the members of the club gather at the village cultural house to practice and satisfy their passion.

Over the years, with love, enthusiasm and responsibility for the local art movement, members of the clubs and art teams have strived to overcome difficulties and devoted themselves to the local art movement. In the district and provincial mass art competitions and performances, the participating clubs and art teams have all won high prizes. In the coming time, Vinh Long commune will continue to propagate and raise people's awareness in preserving and promoting traditional values. Mobilize all legal resources to support funding for the clubs and art teams to purchase costumes and musical instruments for practice and performance" - Mr. Vu Van Binh, Chairman of Vinh Long Commune People's Committee, said.
Along with Vinh Long commune, many communes and towns in Vinh Loc district have paid attention to establishing folk culture and arts clubs to preserve and promote traditional cultural values. According to the report of the Department of Culture and Information, Vinh Loc district has 116 culture and arts clubs. Currently, these clubs are the core of the mass arts movement of Vinh Loc district. Every year, in addition to staging performance programs to serve the people on national holidays and traditional local festivals, the clubs also focus on attracting members, especially young members. In addition, the clubs and art teams also coordinate with the village and neighborhood front work committees, mass organizations to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and local regulations through the form of dramatization, which is effectively received by the people.
It is known that in order to promote the effective operation of clubs and art troupes, Vinh Loc district has directed communes and towns to regularly organize competitions and performances so that clubs have the opportunity to exchange and learn experiences and promote the development of mass art movements, improving the spiritual life of the people. Attention is paid to supporting the construction and renovation of village and neighborhood cultural houses, purchasing musical instruments and performance costumes for clubs to operate.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Department of Culture and Information will advise the District People's Committee on mechanisms and policies to support the development of folk and traditional art clubs and teams. In particular, priority is given to developing, training and nurturing the young generation to become the next generation in the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. Encourage localities to organize cultural and artistic exchange activities associated with traditional festivals, cultural and artistic festivals.
