On the morning of September 14, at Ea H'leo Border Guard Station, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Police to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the monument "Uncle Ho with Border Guard soldiers". This is the 7th project on the border of Dak Lak province to be built.

Accordingly, the monument project "Uncle Ho with Border Guard soldiers" aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) and the 50th anniversary of the founding of Ea H'leo Border Guard Station (October 30, 1975 - October 30, 2025).
The project is built in the premises of Ea H'leo Border Post , with an area of about 400m2 . The project includes the following items: The statue is made of monolithic stone, modeled after the original work "Listen to the mountains and rivers" by author Vu Ngoc Khoi; the pillar is cast in reinforced concrete, with stone cladding on the outside; around the pillar are built 4-sided steps, stone cladding and a miniature landscape yard. The project has a total cost of 400 million VND, supported by Dak Lak Provincial Police.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard, said: The monument “ Uncle Ho with Border Guard soldiers” has a profound traditional educational meaning, is a place for officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station and local people to report their achievements to Uncle Ho; as well as remind officers and soldiers to unite and be determined to overcome all difficulties to firmly protect territorial sovereignty, national border security, maintain political security, social order and safety and build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.
The Deputy Commissar of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard thanked the Dak Lak Provincial Police and local Party Committees and authorities for their support and contributions, especially in building, consolidating and improving the material and spiritual lives of officers and soldiers.
It is known that this is the 7th project built at the border posts on the border line of Dak Lak province. Previously, the units also built and inaugurated the monument including: Bo Heng Border Post, Yok M'Bre, Ia Rve, Sê Rê Pốk, Yok Đôn and Dak Ruê Border Gate Border Post.
