Groundbreaking of VSIP Industrial Park in Thai Binh province

VSIP Industrial Park project with a scale of 333.4 hectares and a total investment of 4,932 billion VND will create momentum for economic development in Thai Binh province.

On March 26, in Thai Thuy district (Thai Binh province), the groundbreaking ceremony of the VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park infrastructure investment and business project took place. The groundbreaking ceremony was held in a direct and online format with the Government headquarters.

VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park Project is invested by Vietnam - Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company. The project is implemented in two communes, An Tan and Thuy Truong (Thai Thuy district).

The project, with a scale of 333.4 hectares, is located in Thai Binh Economic Zone with a total investment of 4,932 billion VND, located in a strategic position in the center of the Red River Delta with outstanding connectivity advantages when adjacent to the economic triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, actively contributing to the strong economic restructuring process, promoting the rapid and sustainable development of Thai Binh province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong affirmed that the good political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, between the two ruling parties, and the close exchanges between the two peoples over the past three decades have been realized through specific projects, bringing concrete benefits and material wealth to the two countries.

Assessing the overall relationship between the two countries, VSIP industrial parks are a symbol and the VSIP model of generation 1 has been very successful. The two sides have agreed to upgrade this model, deploying the second generation of VSIP parks in the direction of sustainability, intelligence, digital transformation, green transformation and application of artificial intelligence, enhancing environmental and social responsibility.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lawrence Wong believe that VSIP zones will continue to develop strongly, become centers of innovation, pioneers in sustainable development and pillars in the Vietnam - Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
