Commencement of investment project of over 300 billion VND at Da Nang University Village

The project to build technical infrastructure and urgent works for Danang University has an investment capital of more than 300 billion VND, expected to be completed in 2025.

On November 25, Danang University started construction of the Technical Infrastructure Project, Sub-Project 1 "Construction of Technical Infrastructure and Urgent Works for Danang University in Hoa Quy - Dien Ngoc" with a loan from the World Bank.

The project covers an area of 49 hectares in the Danang University Construction Planning Area (in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District); the total value of construction and equipment is over 300 billion VND. This is a level III technical infrastructure item, which must be implemented first among the total of 7 construction items of the Project.

Technical infrastructure works, Sub-Project 1 "Construction of Technical Infrastructure and urgent works for Danang University" has started construction.

The main items of the project are leveling the ground on an area of about 32 hectares; building 8 roads with a total length of 4,750 m; a rainwater drainage system of 8,300 m; a wastewater drainage system, a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,000 m; a water supply and fire protection system of nearly 5,000 m; a power supply system with medium-voltage cables, along with a modern lighting, communication and surveillance camera system.

Upon completion, this item will meet the technical infrastructure requirements to continue implementing the construction of Danang University's works according to the approved Plan, especially the remaining 6 items within the scope of this Project.

According to Danang University, Sub-Project 1, a group A project, was decided by the Prime Minister to be invested from a mixed capital source, which is ODA loan from the World Bank's Agency for International Development, with a total amount of 98 million USD and domestic counterpart capital of nearly 20 million USD.

Of which, the central budget allocates 90%, Danang University borrows and contributes 10%. The construction period of the Project is expected to be about 400 days, ending at the end of 2025.

The project to build Danang University in Hoa Quy - Dien Ngoc has been decided by the Prime Minister for investment policy, the Minister of Education and Training approved Sub-Project 1 with a total investment of over 117 million USD, equivalent to over 2,767 billion VND.

The investment project will improve the quality of teaching and research at Danang University, significantly improve and enhance the quality of facilities and academic environment, contributing to achieving the overall development goal of Danang University to become a center for training, scientific research and technology development...
