Construction of 50% of houses for families with revolutionary contributions started

According to Decision No. 21/2024/QD-TTg dated November 22, 2024 of the Prime Minister on housing support for revolutionary veterans and martyrs' relatives, through screening in communes and wards in Ba Don town, there are 224 households of revolutionary veterans and martyrs' relatives receiving housing support; of which, 64 households are newly built and 160 households are repaired. Currently, the whole town has started to build 10 new houses.

The work of repairing and building new houses for families of meritorious people is always of concern to Ba Don Town.

To complete the set goals, the People's Committee of Ba Don Town requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to continue reviewing the approved list of households of NCC with the revolution and martyrs' relatives receiving housing support before supporting construction, ensuring the right subjects and meeting the conditions according to regulations.

Localities need to urgently start building new and repairing houses for households eligible for support according to the reviewed list, ensuring the set schedule; at the same time, step up propaganda and mobilize organizations and individuals to participate and join hands to support the construction of new and repairing houses for NCC in the area, in order to strongly spread this humane policy in the community. Strive to start construction on 50% of houses for eligible families by April 20, 2025.
