At the lantern offering ceremony, each person assembled the lantern by themselves, wrote their wishes, and, following the guidance of the Venerable Monks (Monks and Nuns), recited prayers for the well-being of their parents, relatives, and the people. Each flower lantern lit is a prayer, a kind thought, and peace for oneself and for everyone. The flower lantern offering ceremony was held on the evening of August 29 (July 14 of the Lunar calendar).
