During a combat mission in a special military operation area, a Russian Ka-52 helicopter was attacked by a Stinger man-portable air defense missile system of the Ukrainian forces. Although two missiles were launched simultaneously and almost certainly would have hit the target, the Russian pilots were able to deceive the missiles, avoiding the attack in a spectacular manner.

Also on April 27, the AVP website reported that in the Kherson region, the Russian Armed Forces successfully carried out an operation to destroy four S-300 air defense missile systems and Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns. The Lacet drone was used for this mission.
The Russian Lancet drones are capable of high-precision strikes and can destroy a wide range of ground targets. During operations in the Kherson region, Lancet drones successfully detected and destroyed the above-mentioned weapons.
This successful mission highlighted the enormous benefits of using drones in modern military conflicts.
Earlier, on April 26, AVP also reported on another precision attack by a Lancet drone. The publicly released images showed that the Russian drone had spied on Ukrainian soldiers hiding an M777 howitzer under a camouflage net and an anti-drone tent. The gun was then attacked by the Russian Lancet.
During the special military operation in Ukraine, the Lancet drone showed extremely impressive performance. The Lancet manufacturer said that this type of aircraft will be increased in production this year.
