According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5:00 p.m. on July 30 - the time the online registration portal was closed, the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates registering for admission, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Compared to last year, the number of candidates registering for university admission has increased. Specifically, in 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission wishes on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam in 2023. Meanwhile, this figure in 2022 was 64.1%.
After closing the system, candidates will not be able to register or adjust their admission wishes. According to the plan, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates who register their university admission wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training must pay the fee online through the National Public Service Portal.
Online payment time is divided by province and city as follows:
From 0:00 on July 31 to 17:00 on August 1: Hanoi , Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Yen Bai.
From 0:00 on August 1 to 17:00 on August 2: Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong City.
From 0:00 on August 2 to 17:00 on August 3: Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
From 0:00 on August 3 to 17:00 on August 4: Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang City, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum.
From 0:00 on August 4 to 17:00 on August 5: Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh.
From 0:00 on August 5 to 17:00 on August 6: Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho City, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau.
The virtual screening process will take place from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17. After this period, schools can announce the benchmark scores and admission results to candidates.
By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.
