NT Coffee Shop owner (39 years old, living in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) is confused because the customers are too noisy. Knowing that business times are tough, having customers is lucky, but the above situation is not good.
The coffee shop owner was at a loss!
The incident took place at an air-conditioned coffee shop in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. Almost no one in the group of 9 people noticed that they were in a coffee shop, except that they had ordered 5 glasses of water and a large mug of iced tea. The ordering of water only happened when the waiter had to constantly interrupt and interject to invite the customers to order water.
As the owner of the restaurant, Ms. NT, who witnessed it firsthand, said that the group of customers continuously discussed the value of a house in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward (Binh Tan District) that was for sale. They kept repeating the introduction from the broker. The couple (the buyers - PV) asked very carefully about the legal status of the house and the price.
The two sides were very tense for a few minutes, arguing loudly while bargaining.
"I was happy to see so many customers coming in, but then I was stunned and embarrassed when I saw they were so noisy," Ms. T. confided.
Through conversation, Ms. T. said that she had seen the above scene many times. Usually these groups of tourists are just transients, stopping by wherever is convenient, rarely returning.
The first few times, she was very welcoming and took the noise for granted. However, there was a time when it was too loud and many other guests complained, and she felt very embarrassed.

Once stopped two groups of guests from fighting because of noise.
As the owner, Ms. T. knows what to do, because everyone is a customer. If the restaurant is empty and there is only the above group of customers, Ms. T. is willing to accept the noise.
"Many times, many customers confided that they would not come back to the restaurant because it was too noisy, no different from a market," said Ms. T.
In that case, Ms. T. apologizes and hopes for the customer's understanding because this was also an unintended "incident".
Mr. Long (manager of a coffee shop in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) also lamented the awkwardness when customers came into the shop but laughed and talked too loudly. He said he had to intervene and mediate conflicts between two groups of customers, also because of the reason "we need to respect the common space".
"Working in the service industry is like serving a hundred families. Sometimes, customers need to share in respecting the common space, respecting the owner, and respecting everyone," Mr. Long confided.
Lien, the manager of a coffee shop in Tan Binh district, believes that noisy customers are something that any coffee shop can encounter. "The important thing is what style the owner follows. My shop is an open space, meaning everyone can do whatever they want. Customers have gotten used to it, and whoever can stand the noise and cigarette smoke will come here. Of course, if you go to an air-conditioned coffee shop that is noisy and smokes, who would stand it?" Lien said.
