Although the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 is approaching, with the determination to complete the project on schedule, at the construction site of Quang Tri Airport project at this time, a bustling and urgent working atmosphere is taking place. This is the effort of the locality, investors and construction units to achieve the goal of putting Quang Tri Airport into operation in July 2026.

These days, taking advantage of the stable weather, hundreds of officers, engineers and workers along with many equipment and machines of CIENCO4 Group Joint Stock Company (CIENCO4 Group) are urgently implementing the construction of the aircraft parking lot and material curb under the XL02 package. This is an important item of the project, in which the aircraft parking lot is implemented on an area of 30,600 m2 and has now completed the construction of crushed stone aggregate and pouring of cement concrete layer 1 M150.

According to Director of Quang Tri Airport Management Board, CIENCO4 Group Nguyen Manh Hung, the biggest difficulty now is the frequent rain, which affects construction.
However, with the determination to ensure the progress of the package, after a period of careful preparation of equipment and personnel, the unit has proposed appropriate construction plans.
In particular, nearly 100 officers, engineers and workers were mobilized to work in shifts, both Saturday and Sunday, to complete the items. Currently, we are focusing on testing the second layer of M350 cement concrete for the entire area of the aircraft parking lot and the progress has reached over 50%.
“Regarding the overall progress of the project package, the output has reached 39.22%. However, the remaining workload is very large and the requirement is to complete immediately after the Lunar New Year 2025 for the items of parking material curbs, clearing organic soil, digging the ground and building the parking safety slope, and the drainage system. Therefore, with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain", "eating quickly, sleeping urgently", the atmosphere at the construction site of the XL02 package of the Quang Tri Airport Project undertaken by CIENCO4 Group is almost always quiet, wherever the site is delivered, the unit prepares machinery and workers. Most of the workers eat and stay at the construction site command. We want to construct the parking item with the fastest progress and highest quality in order to take on the next items of the project", Mr. Hung shared.
