When workers are cared for and shared

Each meaningful activity organized on this occasion is not only to show gratitude to workers but also to convey the concern and sharing of trade unions and enterprises for them. From there, it further motivates workers to work with peace of mind, and together with enterprises to steadily move forward on the path of development.

The eyes of workers lit up with joy when the lively music resounded from the stage of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Workers' Cultural House on a day at the end of April. On stage, songs, dances, handshakes and sharing looks were exchanged at the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 - where all attention was directed towards workers.

This year, the program organized by the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union became even more special with the presence of business leaders; along with foreign athletes competing in two exciting sports - Pickleball and Tug of War, creating a festival of solidarity, excitement and love, attracting the attention of many union members and workers...

Ms. Be Thi Huong, a worker at KPE Vina Co., Ltd. (Diem Thuy Industrial Park), shared: Every year, when Workers' Month comes, we get to participate in many exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities, and hear words of gratitude from business leaders and trade unions. These simple but meaningful things help us feel that the work we are doing is meaningful and recognized.

In Pho Yen City, in April, the City Labor Federation also organized a Workers' Festival with the message "Thank you workers" and launched the Workers' Month 2025. Hundreds of union members and workers enthusiastically participated in games such as: sack jumping, blindfolded duck catching, stick pushing, tug of war...

The hearty laughter dispels fatigue after a long work shift, leaving workers with a feeling of being cared for and shared. Not only are they moments of fun, the festival is also an opportunity to honor 85 outstanding union members, 6 enterprises for workers and 11 excellent grassroots union chairmen for the period 2020-2025.

Above all, the gifts, though small but full of meaning - 120 gifts worth 72 million VND were given to workers in difficult circumstances.

Not stopping at the launching ceremonies, the 2025 Workers' Month in Thai Nguyen was also systematically implemented with a series of practical programs. In particular, the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era" stands out - encouraging workers to innovate, create, improve techniques, improve skills and integrate with modern production trends.

In response to Workers' Month 2025, the Trade Union of Sanshan Optical Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Yen Binh Industrial Park) organized a "Trade Union Meal" for workers.

In many enterprises, grassroots unions have proactively organized seminars and competitions to propose initiatives and technical improvements. Workers who are familiar with machines and production lines have now become the source of creativity, contributing significantly to increasing productivity and product quality.

Along with that are propaganda activities, raising awareness of occupational safety and hygiene, improving working conditions and improving the quality of shift meals. Trade unions at all levels also proactively coordinate with employers to organize caring activities such as giving gifts, organizing vacations, health check-ups, direct dialogues, etc.

Ms. Hoang Phuong Giang, a worker at Glonics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thai Nguyen City), excitedly said: During Workers' Month, receiving the attention of the Company's leaders and the trade union organization through "union meals" along with their inquiries and sharing also helps us have more motivation to try harder at work.

In the series of activities of Workers’ Month (taking place in May), the program “Dialogue in May” and the Forum “Party with Workers - Workers with the Party” are important highlights. This is a space for workers to express their thoughts and aspirations and also a place where Party committees, authorities, and enterprises listen to and jointly resolve difficulties in the working environment.

Many business owners participating in the dialogue not only listened but also committed to improving working conditions and paying more attention to the spiritual life of workers. Mr. Pham Cong Hoang, Chairman of the Trade Union of Glonics Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared: Workers' Month is also an opportunity for us to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, thereby proposing to business leaders to adjust compensation policies to be more appropriate.

This year's Workers' Month is also the peak month for developing union members and establishing grassroots unions. Trade unions at all levels in Thai Nguyen are actively promoting and mobilizing workers to join trade unions - where they can be represented and have their rights protected in a legitimate manner. At the same time, the discovery and introduction of outstanding union members for consideration of Party membership is focused on, aiming to build a strong workforce in both expertise and political capacity.

Workers’ Month is not just a series of activities. It is a month in which the Union arouses the spirit of professional pride, and lights up in workers the feeling of being loved, cared for and accompanied. Just a word of thanks, a handshake, a small gift… can also warm the hearts of workers and make them love their jobs more.

Workers' Month is therefore not only an occasion for gratitude but also for motivation, so that each worker can enter the "new era" with faith, aspiration and pride.
