After that, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province installed 13 more surveillance cameras on National Highway 56 and 16 cameras on National Highway 55, but to date, these cameras are still in operation.
Speaking with Thanh Nien reporters on May 30, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Police said that National Highway 55 and National Highway 56 both have 3 speed camera locations.
"Currently, the surveillance cameras are operating normally, transmitting very good signals and images to the Traffic Police Department. Currently, on these two national highways, speeding and red light violations are mainly recorded by motorbikes and local residents," said this leader.

According to this leader, from June 20, the authorities will officially fine drivers for traffic violations on National Highway 55 and National Highway 56 through surveillance cameras. This leader also informed that the maximum speed allowed on National Highway 55 and National Highway 56 is 80 km/h, and on National Highway 51 it is 90 km/h.
