Rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation in 2024

(BTNO) - On the morning of April 4, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hoa Thanh town organized a ceremony to reward individuals and groups with achievements in voluntary blood donation; Association work and the Red Cross movement in 2024.

The voluntary blood donation movement in Hoa Thanh town received enthusiastic participation from all walks of life.

In recent times, voluntary blood donation, the Association's activities and the Red Cross movement have always been of interest to local authorities at all levels in Hoa Thanh town. The movement has spread throughout communes, wards, agencies, units, schools and received enthusiastic participation from all walks of life.

In 2024, the Town's Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee carried out 5 voluntary blood donation campaigns, collecting 2,540 units of blood, reaching 100% of the assigned plan.

Two individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in voluntary blood donation.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded the "For the humanitarian cause" medal to 11 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals; the People's Committee of Hoa Thanh town and the Town Association awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation; the Association's work and the Red Cross movement in 2024.
