In particular, the ceremony was attended by 20 households representing 1,300 households receiving support to build houses in Tra Vinh province.

The project to build 1,300 houses for poor, near-poor and housing-challenged households in Tra Vinh province is a major policy of the Ministry of Public Security and Tra Vinh province. In particular, the Ministry of Public Security supports 50 million VND/house, Tra Vinh province contributes an additional 15 million VND/house. After nearly 4 months of construction, ensuring safety and quality, the houses were completed on schedule and put into use, helping people stabilize their housing and have a better life.
Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Construction, Tra Vinh province and delegates presented gifts and Great Solidarity House symbols to households.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang warmly congratulated 1,300 households who were awarded new houses in the program. He acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, close coordination, efforts, and overcoming difficulties of relevant units, especially the leading and core role of officers and soldiers of Tra Vinh Provincial Police; at the same time, he sincerely thanked the agencies, units, sponsors and people for their coordination, support and material and spiritual support so that 1,300 poor households, near-poor households, households with meritorious services to the revolution, and households with housing difficulties in Tra Vinh province could have new, more solid and spacious houses.

In his response speech, Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong - Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee shared that the implementation of the program of joining hands to build houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties from the mobilized resources of the Ministry of Public Security and the province's counterpart is a very meaningful program, demonstrating the joint efforts of the police force, together with the locality to effectively implement social security work according to the policies of the Party and State; is a great source of spiritual encouragement for poor households to continue to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and escape poverty sustainably.

He suggested that after receiving the new house, households should preserve and use the house carefully and long-term to stabilize their lives, actively increase production, develop family economy, contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality; with their own efforts together with the attention of the Party, State and community, determined to "Rise up to escape poverty sustainably", actively participate in the work of ensuring security, order and the movement of the whole people to protect national security.
In addition to its annual political and business tasks, Petrovietnam always focuses on social security. Every year, Petrovietnam spends about 500-700 billion VND on social security activities, has built over 2,000 Great Unity houses and houses for the poor, actively contributing with the Party, State and local authorities to join hands to help the disadvantaged in society, leaving no one behind.
Recently, in Hanoi, responding to the Prime Minister's call at the program "Warm home for my compatriots", Petrovietnam donated 150 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in localities across the country.
