On September 12, the Gia Vien District Women's Union coordinated with a number of district organizations, unions, sponsors and local authorities to inaugurate the "Shelter of Trust" house for poor female member Pham Thi Thom, in Kinh Chuc village, Gia Phu commune.
Mrs. Pham Thi Thom's family is one of the poor households in the commune. Both Mrs. Thom and her husband are old, weak, and often sick. Previously, Mrs. Thom's family lived in a level 4 house that was seriously degraded.
Faced with the difficult circumstances of Mrs. Thom’s family, the local government and the Gia Phu Commune Women’s Union have requested support to build a house for Mrs. Thom’s family. Along with that, they have called on and mobilized organizations and individuals to support the construction of a new house for her family.
In June 2023, the construction of the "Warm House of Faith" began. After nearly 3 months of construction, the house was completed with an area of 50m2, solid and spacious, designed to suit the land area and number of residents, with enough living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and toilets. The total cost of building the house is 157 million VND, most of which is supported by the State and sponsors.
At the house inauguration ceremony, the Women's Union, Youth Union, Red Cross of Gia Vien district, local authorities of Gia Phu commune and sponsors: Ninh Binh Province Young Entrepreneurs Association, Phu Nhuan Gold and Gemstone Company congratulated the family on their new house and gave them gifts of equipment, utensils and essential items for the family to serve their living needs.
