Inauguration of a 3-storey accommodation complex sponsored by PVEP in Xin Man district, Ha Giang province
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the State Audit Office (SA), there were Mr. Tran Van Hao - Chief Auditor of the SA Specialized Department VI; Mr. Vo Sy Nam - Deputy Chief Auditor of the SA Region X; Mr. Bui Hoang Tung - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Agencies; Mr. Le Manh Cuong - Secretary of the SA Youth Union.

On the local side and the Xin Man District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Ha Giang Province, there were Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang Province; Ms. Do Thi Huong - Secretary of the Xin Man District Party Committee; representative of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Giang Province, Principal of Xin Man District Boarding Secondary and High School, Nguyen Thi Ngan.
Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council of Xin Man district, Coc Pai town; leaders of agencies, departments, branches, unions; KTNN youth union members; leaders and staff of PVEP Office; together with teachers, parents, and students of Xin Man district's Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School.
Xin Man District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities is located in Group 3, Coc Pai Town, Xin Man District, Ha Giang Province - a poor border district 150km from Ha Giang City with more than 16 ethnic groups living together, most of whom are ethnic minorities. The district has a poverty rate of over 50% and the number of near-poor households is approximately 15%. Xin Man District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities currently has 500 students. Of which, 100% of the students are boarders; 60% of the students are children of poor households, near-poor households, and ethnic minorities living in communes in the district. Over the years, the school has encountered many difficulties due to the increasing number of students while the facilities are increasingly degraded.
Understanding the difficulties of the locality and the school and through the connection and mobilization of social resources of KTNN, PVEP sponsored the construction of a 3-storey dormitory building to accommodate students with an amount of 15 billion VND. The project started construction in July 2023 with a total floor area of over 1,894 m2, a scale of 12 rooms, about 250 accommodations for students to stay with a community room, restrooms, and auxiliary works. After more than 1 year of construction, the project was officially completed and put into use.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Hao, Chief Auditor of State Audit Department VI, emphasized that the youth project to build a 3-storey dormitory for the Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities in Xin Man District, Ha Giang Province is not only a meaningful project in terms of material aspects, but also has profound spiritual value, demonstrating special attention to education and the development of ethnic minority areas. In addition to the efforts and close supervision of the local government and the State Audit Department Youth Union to complete the project on schedule, Mr. Tran Van Hao also expressed his deep gratitude to Petrovietnam/PVEP for accompanying the program throughout and affirming that PVEP's responsible support has contributed significantly to bringing a better living and learning environment for the students here.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government, ethnic people of Xin Man district, teachers and students of Xin Man district's Ethnic Boarding School, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung expressed his deep gratitude and acknowledged the attention and support of KTNN, Petrovietnam, and PVEP. At the same time, he pledged to exploit and effectively use the project to maximize investment resources, improve the quality of boarding work as well as the quality of education of the school.

Sharing the joy of the school's teachers and students and local people when the 3-storey dormitory was completed and put into use, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung, Deputy General Director in charge of PVEP operations, said that this project, along with many other social security programs and projects that PVEP has implemented in 2024, demonstrates PVEP's determination and commitment to society. Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung affirmed that in the coming time, PVEP will continue to implement many other social security projects in Ha Giang province as well as other disadvantaged localities across the country, focusing on investment in education and health, contributing to supporting localities to complete the goal of sustainable development.

Also within the framework of the program, PVEP provided support for teachers and students of the Xin Man District Boarding Secondary and High School to equip audio equipment for teaching and learning. KTNN Region X also presented gifts worth 50 million VND to teachers and students of the school to support the equipping of facilities for the boarding house.
