Attending the program were comrade Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, President of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; comrade Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union; comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Permanent President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers.
The reading, interaction and team activities space was built on the 2nd floor of the Provincial Children's House with a total area of 50m2 . The space is equipped with more than 1,500 books and stories about the historical traditions of the Vietnamese people, the struggle and national liberation of President Ho Chi Minh; typical heroic martyrs of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers... The space also has many features and utilities, enhancing interaction, applying information technology and digital transformation; helping team members and children have a place to organize Team activities more conveniently, attractively and vividly. The project was built by the Central Team Council with a total value of 300 million VND, handed over and put into use with the desire to contribute to the development of reading culture, creating an interactive playground, Team activities for children in Dien Bien province.
On this occasion, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund donated a school project to Sa Tong Kindergarten No. 2, Sa Tong Commune (Muong Cha District) worth more than 600 million VND and donated learning equipment for the classroom. The Central Council of the Young Pioneers and SunUNI ACADEMY International English Joint Stock Company donated a computer room worth 70 million VND to Quang Lam Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, Quang Lam Commune (Muong Nhe District) and 5 English scholarships, each worth 10 million VND. The Central Council of the Young Pioneers awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND to disadvantaged children who have overcome difficulties to study well in Dien Bien province.
