Inauguration of Thu Duc City Regional General Hospital

The representative of the Project Management Board said that the hospital was completely newly built on an area of ​​over 58,000m², with 1 basement and 10 floors above ground, with a total investment of over 1,915 billion VND, and a scale of 1,000 beds.

The hospital is designed according to international standards, focusing on spacious spaces and friendly landscapes, creating a sense of safety and comfort for both patients and medical staff.

Praising the outstanding efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board and related units, Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board, emphasized that putting the Hospital into operation not only meets the medical examination and treatment needs of Thu Duc City residents but also creates conditions for people in neighboring areas such as Binh Duong and Dong Nai to access high-quality medical services in a spacious and comfortable environment.

Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet suggested that the Hospital proactively develop a training plan, develop the medical team, strengthen cooperation with upper-level hospitals to acquire specialized techniques, develop advanced treatment regimens, aiming to become a complete grade 1 general hospital and develop key areas such as trauma emergency and endovascular intervention.

Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health expressed his hope: "Thu Duc Regional General Hospital will become a leading emergency and trauma treatment center, serving the entire northeastern region of Ho Chi Minh City, capable of receiving and effectively handling all emergency situations without the need for hospital transfer."
