Khanh Hoa plans to start construction of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project in April 2025

Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Le Huu Hoang has just inspected the actual project of investment, construction and business of infrastructure of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park (IP).

According to the report of the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project (invested by Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company) has a land use scale of 288 hectares, located in Van Hung Commune (Van Ninh District) and Ninh Tho Commune (Ninh Hoa Town). The total investment capital of the project is over 1,807 billion VND.

Up to now, the Project has basically completed the Construction Zoning Planning Project (scale 1/2,000) and submitted it to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval at the thematic meeting on November 6, 2024.

Regarding site clearance, up to now, Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee has completed the inventory of the entire 45 hectares with 59 plots of land in Ninh Tho commune, corresponding to 18 affected cases.

Van Ninh District People's Committee also completed the inventory of 63.37/66 hectares in Van Hung commune with 63 land plots, corresponding to 40/46 cases (the remaining cases are not in the locality).

Mr. Hoang suggested that in the coming time, the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone, relevant departments, branches, and localities, together with the investor, proactively and actively carry out the next procedures, speed up the implementation progress, and strive to start the project before April 2, 2025.

At the same time, Mr. Hoang assigned the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board to advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the Project implementation plan; advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee a plan to resolve difficulties, problems and recommendations of investors, especially issues related to adjusting the Land Use Right Certificate for land plots overlapping the administrative boundary between Ninh Hoa town and Van Ninh district; study and build a road leading from National Highway 1 to the Project.

“The People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town and Van Ninh district should soon approve the land compensation and support prices as a basis for developing a compensation and resettlement plan for the project…”, Mr. Hoang suggested.
