Khanh Hoa welcomes 38 international flights per day

On April 9, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that every day there are 38 international flights arriving at Cam Ranh airport, bringing thousands of tourists to the locality.

In the past three months, the whole province has welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors, an increase of 19.7% over the same period in 2024. A notable highlight is the remarkable growth in the number of international visitors, because of the above 2.5 million visitors, there were more than 1.3 million foreign visitors (an increase of 12.5% ​​over the same period), higher than domestic visitors. Tourism revenue in March 2025 reached VND 3,483.2 billion, an increase of 8.1% over the same period in 2024; in the first quarter of 2025, it reached VND 13,850.4 billion, an increase of 21.8% over the same period last year.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this growth was thanks to the increase in direct flights and cruise ships bringing international visitors to Khanh Hoa. In particular, the Russian tourist market is showing signs of strong recovery, with the opening of the Moscow - Cam Ranh route by Aeroflot and charter flights from 11 Russian cities operated by Anex Vietnam Company in cooperation with Azur Air.

In the coming time, Pegas Misr Vietnam Company will cooperate with Ikar International Airlines of Pegas Touristik Group to organize flights from the Russian market and countries of the former Soviet Union. The first flight is expected to depart from Khabarovsk Novy International Airport to Cam Ranh International Airport on April 18.

In addition, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province also added that from now until the end of the year, many airlines will operate flights bringing passengers from Poland and Taiwan (China) to Khanh Hoa.

It is known that in 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome 11.8 million visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors, 6.6 million domestic visitors, tourism revenue reaching 60,000 billion VND.
