On September 20, Hung Yen Provincial Police discovered the body of a little girl in Me So Commune, Van Giang District, Hung Yen Province.
According to the initial results of the case, on September 19, Hung Yen Provincial Police received a request from Hanoi City Police to coordinate in verifying and arresting Giap Thi Huyen Trang (born in 1996, with permanent residence in Chung Minh village, Viet Ngoc commune, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province), a suspect in kidnapping NHT (born in 2021, in Da Ton commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi city), demanding ransom.
Through investigation, at around 11:30 a.m. on September 20, Hung Yen Provincial Police discovered the body of T. in a fish pond on the farm of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien's family (born in 1961, in the fields of Nhan Thap village, Me So commune, Van Giang district, Hung Yen province).
Immediately after discovery, Hung Yen Provincial Police coordinated with Hung Yen Provincial People's Procuracy to conduct a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and organize an investigation to clarify the case.

From the images extracted from the camera, at 3:50 p.m. on September 19, Huyen Trang picked up the girl at the kindergarten in the urban area of Gia Lam district bordering Hung Yen province with a white Lead motorbike. Immediately after that, the girl's family received a ransom demand from the subject.
On the morning of September 20, the girl’s body was discovered in a ditch about 13 km from her home and school. After receiving the report, the authorities sealed off the scene, performed an autopsy, and investigated the incident.

Currently, Hung Yen Provincial Police are directing the professional departments, police of districts, towns and cities to coordinate with the Criminal Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police to continue to organize the investigation, quickly arrest the perpetrator and handle it according to the law.
