Urgently clarify the cause of the serious work accident at Dat Cuoc Industrial Park (Binh Duong)

Binh Duong province authorities are taking measures to search for victims.

Telegram sent to the Ministers of Public Security, Construction, Home Affairs, Finance and Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee.

The dispatch stated: At about 10:30 a.m. on April 17, 2025, at a factory under repair in Dat Cuoc Industrial Park, Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province, a serious work accident occurred, killing 3 people. On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha sent their condolences to the relatives and families of the victims and gave the following instructions:

1. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province urgently organizes thoughtful visits, promptly supports and encourages the families of the deceased victims and completes procedures related to the deceased victims; visits, encourages and supports the injured victims; at the same time directs the functional forces to urgently clarify the cause, overcome the consequences, stabilize production, promptly investigate, clarify the cause of the accident, clarify the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals, and strictly handle violations (if any).

Directing to strengthen inspection and examination work, promptly detect and handle violations of labor safety regulations in production and business activities in the area, and prevent similar cases from occurring.

2. The Ministry of Public Security directs the Binh Duong Provincial Police to coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the accident, and strictly handle violations according to the provisions of law (if any).

3. The Ministry of Construction shall coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province and relevant agencies to direct enterprises to carefully review regulations, standards and norms, promptly overcome shortcomings and limitations, and ensure absolute safety for workers.
