Urgently complete the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents

The Resolution stated that the Government basically agreed with the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents submitted by the Ministry of Justice in Submission No. 48/TTr-BTP dated April 10, 2025.

The Government assigned the Ministry of Justice to preside over and coordinate with ministries, ministerial-level agencies and relevant agencies to study and absorb the maximum opinions of Government members, promptly complete the draft Law dossier in accordance with regulations, ensure full and timely institutionalization of policies and orientations in the Party's Documents, Resolutions, Conclusions of the Politburo and Secretariat on the work of building and perfecting the legal system and requirements for breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; closely follow the process of amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution and the Law on Organization of Local Government on the arrangement of the apparatus of the political system and the organization of two-level local governments, ensuring the constitutionality, unity and synchronization of the legal system in the process of amending and supplementing this Law.

Thoroughly grasp the spirit of innovation, openness, and removing difficulties and obstacles in law-making work, associated with strengthening power control, preventing corruption, negativity, waste, group interests, and localism in law-making work.

The Ministry of Justice is responsible for the content of the acceptance and completion of the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents. The Minister of Justice is assigned, on behalf of the Prime Minister, to sign the Government's Submission on the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.

The Government assigned Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long to direct the Ministry of Justice and relevant ministries and agencies in the process of revising and completing this Law project./.
