Immediately after the project of connecting the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway with provincial road 338 phase I invested by the province was formed, the investor of Song Khoai Industrial Park adjusted the infrastructure investment plan at the industrial park, especially the East - West traffic route to connect directly with the route invested by the province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company , the investor of Song Khoai Industrial Park project, said: With the role of a key industrial park in attracting investment, especially attracting FDI investment of the province, the traffic infrastructure connecting to the industrial park invested by the province has been basically completed such as: Road connecting the industrial park with Ha Long Xanh intersection on Ha Long - Hai Phong highway, access road and Ben Rung bridge connecting the industrial park with Hai Phong city. According to the plan, some sections of the East - West traffic axis will not be implemented until 2026 according to the project phase, but with the responsibility of the unit assigned to be the investor of the industrial park, the unit has prioritized capital for road construction to immediately connect with the traffic routes that the province has invested in.
The entire East-West axis road through the Industrial Park is designed in parallel, with 3 lanes on each side running along 5 phases of the project. The starting point connects with the road connecting Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway with provincial road 338 phase I, the end point connects with the riverside road. With the support of Quang Yen Town in site clearance work, the East-West axis road sections through phases I and II of the Industrial Park project with a length of nearly 1.7km have been completed and put into use to serve the operations of factories in the Industrial Park. For the sections through phases III and IV of the Industrial Park, the areas that have been handed over are being urgently excavated and the roadbed filled in layers. The investor and Quang Yen Town are focusing on speeding up the site clearance progress, especially coming up with a plan to restore the system of agricultural irrigation canals from Yen Lap Lake down.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company , Investor of Song Khoai Industrial Park project, added: Along with striving to complete the entire connection with Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway in 2025, we have prepared resources to construct the last 700m of the route to connect with Song Uong bridge (riverside road project connecting road 338 to the Provincial Gate) which is gradually taking shape. If in May, the entire land is available, the last section of the route will also be completed in 2025.
On the total area of industrial land handed over, Song Khoai Industrial Park currently has an occupancy rate of over 86% for secondary investors. The adjustment of the investment plan of the route belonging to Song Khoai Industrial Park not only enhances the traffic connectivity of the Industrial Park in particular and Quang Yen coastal economic zone in general, but also creates a competitive advantage, increasing value in attracting investment.
