The reason comes from Pu's "turnaround" with Chai (Long Vu). From a girl who was loved for being smart, intelligent, and ambitious, Pu became ungrateful. She broke her promise to be Chai's fiancee and showed an unpleasant attitude every time she faced or received Chai's attention.

There are also opinions defending Pu as the victim in the forced marriage story. She wanted to go to school, live her own life instead of staying in the village, marrying someone she didn't love to pay off her family's debt. In her love story with Chai, Pu was always passive. She even hated being cared for and pursued by Chai.

However, to achieve her goal, Pu agreed to marry Chai on the condition that she finished college. Later, Pu received a stronger reaction when she abandoned Chai and fell in love with Thai (Vuong Anh Ole). The majority believed that Pu should not have broken her promise and hurt Chai. Especially in the situation where Chai's family had to leave their homeland due to debt, Pu's actions were considered unacceptable.

In the latest episode, Pu was scammed out of money. She panicked when she learned that she could not get back the money she had transferred through performing tasks on social networks.

All the situations are predictable and follow the old pattern. It is worth mentioning that this series of events does not highlight the personalities of the main and supporting characters, even causing the opposite effect, being criticized as boring and silly.

Chai's character has slow, negative changes.

Not only Pu, Chai's character is also increasingly fading. After more than 30 episodes, Chai is still a vagabond, only knowing how to spend his parents' money and blindly following the call of love.
