On the morning of May 26, the Ninh Binh Province Young Entrepreneurs Association coordinated with the Youth Union of Bach Mai Hospital and the Provincial General Hospital to organize a program to screen for diseases, provide health consultations and provide free medicine to more than 300 people in difficult circumstances, people with revolutionary contributions and policy beneficiaries in Thach Binh commune (Nho Quan).
Attending the Program were representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, leaders of Nho Quan district, hospital leaders, and representatives of sponsors.
At the Program, people are examined by officers, doctors, and medical staff such as: blood pressure measurement, blood sugar test, general ultrasound, electrocardiogram, eye examination, dental examination, etc., and are also instructed on how to take care of themselves, protect and improve their health, and proactively prevent common diseases. In addition, some chronic diseases are screened.
In the program, common cases are given medication. For serious cases, doctors will advise, guide and refer to appropriate specialist facilities for treatment. For the elderly, disabled, and those with difficulty moving, doctors will visit and advise at home.
In addition to medical examination, each person who comes for examination also receives a gift including vitamins, milk, bread, and helmet.
On this occasion, representatives of the Young Entrepreneurs Association and sponsors visited and presented gifts to two families in particularly difficult circumstances in Bai Long and Tien Phong villages (Thach Binh commune).
It is known that the program of medical examination, health consultation and medicine distribution for people in difficult circumstances, people with revolutionary contributions and policy beneficiaries in Thach Binh commune, Nho Quan district has a total cost of about 1 billion VND.
This is a practical activity with profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water, the spirit of mutual love and affection, contributing to sharing difficulties and creating conditions for people to access better health care services.
At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneering and volunteering spirit of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association as well as the youth of the health sector in the work of caring for and protecting people's health on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and social security activities in the Humanitarian Month of 2024.
