On March 26 and 27, a medical team from An Giang Provincial Police led by Colonel Nguyen The Hai, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, went to Kandal Province to provide medical examinations, medicine, and gifts to Cambodian people and Cambodians of Vietnamese origin in difficult circumstances.
Doctors and nurses examined, prescribed and distributed medicine to 600 people living in Sam Peou Poun ward, Sam Peou Poun city and Preaek Dach commune, Leuk Daek district, Kandal province, Cambodia.
Through examination, doctors promptly detected, advised on how to prevent and treat some major groups of diseases that people here often encounter such as high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach, cardiovascular, respiratory, skin diseases...

In addition to providing free medical examinations and medicine to the people, the delegation also gave each person who came to the clinic a gift including rice, soy sauce, instant noodles and other essentials for daily use. The cost of the medical examinations, medicine and gifts was raised from benefactors.
Colonel Hai said that this medical examination and gift giving session has partly solved the difficulties of the people of the two above localities in detecting, preventing and treating diseases. From there, they will improve their health to continue working and producing, stabilizing their lives. Contributing to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two nations. Especially between the An Giang Provincial Police and the Kandal Provincial Police and the local authorities.
