(Baoquangngai.vn)- About 400 elderly people and children in difficult circumstances in Son Tinh district were examined and given free medicine by doctors from hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City.
On the morning of April 19, the People's Committee of Son Tinh district coordinated with Minh Ngoc Medical Clinic (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a program to examine and provide free medicine for the elderly and children in difficult circumstances in the district.

A team of 22 doctors and medical staff from Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, Children's Hospital 2, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. participated in providing free medical examinations and medicine to the people. During this medical examination, the doctors and medical staff examined and provided treatment consultations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Ear, Nose and Throat.
After the examination, people are prescribed and given free medication by doctors. In addition, people are also advised on nutrition, knowledge and skills to prevent epidemics, and treatment of common diseases such as cough, fever, first aid for injuries, etc. in adults and children.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Tinh district presented 400 gifts to 400 people who came for medical examination. Each gift worth 300 thousand VND in cash, was taken from the Fund for the Poor of Son Tinh district.
