Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province; Chung Thi Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Ha Giang City Party Committee; Director, former journalist Nguyen Bong Mai, author of the book "Du khau: Brilliant costumes of women of Vietnamese ethnic groups".

This exhibition has 99 works including paintings, clips and photos recording the daily life and traditional costumes of women of ethnic minorities in Vietnam, including 15 ethnic groups living in Ha Giang. This is the passion and enthusiasm for exploring the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities of director and former journalist Nguyen Bong Mai during her time working in the field, researching and writing books. Through the exhibition, we aim to inspire people to dare to think, dare to do, overcome gender stereotypes, love traditional culture, and at the same time preserve and promote traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups associated with sustainable tourism development; honor the beauty of Vietnamese women through traditional costumes.

At the ceremony, director and former journalist Nguyen Bong Mai shared valuable experiences from her 99-day trip across Vietnam to learn about ethnic minority women's costumes and discuss and find new and creative directions for the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
