The event attracted the attention of representatives of 45 Japanese enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises in Japan to exchange, share experiences and seek cooperation opportunities.
This is the second time FAJ has organized an event in the association's "Business Connection Program Route", after the success of the first time in 2022. The new point of this year's Dialogue is the participation of many businesses in all fields from trade, human resources, real estate, information technology... and is not limited to the scope of businesses within the association's members.
Speaking at the seminar as an advisor of FAJ, Ambassador of the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan Nguyen Duc Minh, a former student of Foreign Trade University, highly appreciated the solidarity, unity, and endless creative ideas of generations of students in connecting and promoting cooperation opportunities for mutual development for the community, for the country, and for the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan. These seminars and exchanges can help Japanese friends understand more about the capabilities and needs of Vietnamese enterprises as well as together seek opportunities to exploit the potential for cooperation in each specific field.

The seminar had four main speakers who were leaders, managers, and economic experts from Japan and Vietnam presenting practical contents such as: Revealing businesses optimizing taxes and increasing the efficiency of insurance capital use; Advertising and communication solutions in Japan; Challenges and strategies of multinational management in a multicultural environment; Opportunities and challenges of the Vietnamese Offshore industry in the wave of artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, the event also devoted a considerable amount of time for representatives of businesses to introduce themselves, as well as exchange and seek business cooperation opportunities in Japan.
Ms. Doan Thu Quynh, Vice President of FAJ, Head of the Event Organizing Committee, said that FAJ was established in 2014, which has been 10 years. The association's motto is not only to connect and exchange among students and alumni of Foreign Trade University, but also to contribute to the Vietnamese community in Japan. The highlight of this year's event is that it does not limit the scope of businesses registering to attend, nor the field, but is open to all businesses interested in and in need of connecting and cooperating with each other. The main purpose of the "Business Connection Program" is to help the Vietnamese business community and Japanese partners have more room to search and explore each other's potential, thereby orienting two-way cooperation and development, bringing benefits to businesses as well as to the community.
Attending the event, Mr. Kiyotaka Miyazaki, Head of Suruga Bank Branch in Shinjuku Ward, said: “Suruga Bank is currently providing many services for foreigners, so this is a great opportunity to meet Vietnamese business owners in Japan. I believe that the economic cooperation between the two countries is not only becoming increasingly close but also has much potential for further development. I hope there will be more events like this so that businesses from both countries can directly connect with each other.”

After 10 years of operation, last July, FAJ officially launched its legal entity, marking an important milestone in the development journey of the Foreign Trade University alumni community in the Land of the Rising Sun.
“Business Connection Program” is one of the 8 main activities of FAJ, including exchanges to expand relationships; sports exchanges, volunteer activities, knowledge sharing, etc. Although it was only held for the second time, the event attracted the participation of many Vietnamese enterprises in Japan as well as Japanese partners interested in cooperation opportunities with Vietnam. The event is not only a platform for exchange and learning experiences, but also a space for exchanging and discussing useful information for young Vietnamese people who intend to start a business in Japan.
