Opening of Film Week celebrating 50 years of National Reunification Day

The film week takes place from April 9 to 11, 2025 at 4 locations: Division 361; Division 371, Brigade 26, Air Defense - Air Force; New Soldier Training Battalion, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force.

The six feature films screened during the Film Week include: "The Legend of Quan Tien", directed by Dinh Tuan Vu; "Don't Burn", directed by Dang Nhat Minh; "The Return", directed by Dang Thai Huyen; "The Sound of the Fateful Gong", directed by Nguyen Khac Loi; "Border", directed by Nguyen Duc Viet; "Looking Out to the Sea", directed by Meritorious Artist Vu Chau.

5 documentaries include: "The Chosen Path", Episode 19: "Unification of the Country", directors: People's Artist Le Thi, Bui Chi Trung, Tran Vu Anh; "April 30 - Reunification Day" - Part 1: "Vietnam - The Nation Overcomes Difficulties", Part 2: "Vietnam's Victory", director: People's Artist Le Thi; "The Chosen Path" - Episode 17: "Acupressure Points of the Central Highlands", directors: People's Artist Le Thi, People's Artist Luu Quy; "Journey of Resolution", directors: Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen, Nguyen Quang Quyet; "Under One Roof", director Vu Anh Nhat.

These are works expressing gratitude and honoring the history, tradition of loyalty to the Party, filial piety to the people, readiness to fight and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for Socialism, completing any task, overcoming any difficulty, and defeating any enemy of the Vietnam People's Army.

Speaking at the opening of the Film Week, Major General Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army emphasized: "Through the film week, it helps cadres, soldiers and people deeply understand the stature and significance of the victory of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the achievements of the country's renovation. Thereby, it arouses patriotism, national pride, determination to overcome difficulties, and successfully complete all assigned tasks. Thereby, it aims to propagate and educate cadres, soldiers of the armed forces and people, especially the young generation, to promote revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism, national pride, and firmly build and defend the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new situation."
