Towards the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, on the morning of November 16, at the Provincial Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition “Thai Binh – Imprints of the Subsidy Period”. Attending the event were Mr. Vu Ngoc Tri, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the thematic exhibition.
With thousands of documents, artifacts, images and scientific documents displayed in an installation method, recreating spaces such as trading stores, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens... helping viewers immerse themselves in the social life of Thai Binh people in an important historical period of their homeland and country. Along with the diverse display spaces, the Provincial Museum also organizes experiential activities such as: queuing to buy food during the subsidy period, making taro curtains, playing dragon snake up to the clouds, playing mandarin squares, shooting marbles, playing volleyball, making buffaloes with jackfruit leaves... helping visitors, especially students, have the opportunity to experience folk games during the subsidy period. Thereby helping them understand more about the difficult but warm and peaceful life that their grandparents and parents experienced.
Comrade Vu Ngoc Tri, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers of congratulations.
At the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition, delegates cut the ribbon and visited and experienced the exhibition spaces.
The exhibition will take place at the Provincial Museum from November 16 to December 22, 2023.
