On the morning of February 5, at the Provincial Library, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Provincial Journalists Association to organize the opening ceremony of the Spring Newspaper Exhibition and Fine Arts Exhibition 2024.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Bui Ngoc Quang, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Provincial Radio and Television Station; Department of Information and Communications; Department of Culture and Sports; Ninh Binh Newspaper; officials and members of the Ninh Binh Provincial Journalists Association and artists.
The Spring Newspaper Exhibition and Fine Arts Exhibition 2024 displays and introduces publications of Ninh Binh press and nearly 100 newspapers and magazines nationwide; introduces nearly 200 books and documents on the glorious historical tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam over the past 94 years; achievements of the country's renovation; on the glorious tradition and merits and contributions of the Provincial Party Committee in the revolutionary cause.
The publications are beautifully presented, lively, attractive, with rich and diverse content. These are carefully and meticulously invested products, the crystallization of creative thinking and dedication of each member, reporter, journalist, press agency and artist.
In addition, the 2024 Spring Newspaper Exhibition online has updated more than 210 Tet newspapers ready to serve readers who do not have the conditions to visit the Library. This is also a key content of the process of promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation of the library industry.
The online Spring Newspaper display helps people access and read all types of newspapers anytime, anywhere using computers or mobile phones. At the same time, 120 school libraries using library management software deployed by the Provincial Library are displaying the Spring Newspaper online. Thereby, contributing to strengthening propaganda work, building correct ideological awareness for people in the period of information technology and communication explosion.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Bui Ngoc Quang, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association emphasized: Over the past year, Ninh Binh provincial press has continued to develop, making positive contributions to the cause of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong Party and political system.
With a team of over 180 journalists, press agencies and journalists in the province have created tens of thousands of press works to propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to cadres, party members and people, and at the same time serve as a forum to reflect the opinions, thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people; promptly propagate and encourage all classes of people and the business community to overcome difficulties and challenges, promote patriotic emulation movements, and strive to fulfill the set goals and tasks.

At the opening ceremony, leaders of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Culture and Sports, Provincial Radio and Television Station cut the ribbon to open the Spring Newspaper Exhibition and Fine Arts Exhibition 2024 and visited the exhibition booth at the Provincial Library.
The Spring Newspaper Display and Fine Arts Exhibition 2024 will take place from February 5, 2024 to February 24, 2024 (ie December 26, Quy Mao year to the full moon of January, Giap Thin year).
