Opening of the 50th Anniversary Exhibition of Ha Giang Literature and Arts after the National Reunification Day

BHG - On the morning of April 22, at the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to open the exhibition 50 years of Ha Giang Literature and Arts after the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

BHG - On the morning of April 22, at the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to open the exhibition 50 years of Ha Giang Literature and Arts after the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the event were comrades: Associate Professor, Doctor, Musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. Also attending were leaders of the Vietnam Musicians' Association, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; leaders of departments, branches, armed forces, students and many artists in the province.

In his opening speech, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association Lam Tien Manh emphasized: The exhibition is one of a series of cultural and tourism activities of the province taking place in the atmosphere of the whole country and people enthusiastically competing towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification. Along with that, the event marks the development of Ha Giang's literature and arts, during 5 decades, writers, artists, photographers and painters of the province have constantly created, preserving priceless historical moments, unique culture and the journey of overcoming difficulties to rise up. The exhibition is a colorful art space, introducing to the public exquisite and valuable photographic and fine art works about Ha Giang through the ages. At the same time, it displays literary works and publications bearing the imprint of local culture, expressing the breath of life, thoughts, concerns and responsibilities of writers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

At the program, the leaders of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists presented the exhibition of publications "Vietnam's prevention and control of Covid-19 through the lens of photography". The exhibition took place from April 22 to May 31 at the Provincial Museum, No. 148, Tran Hung Dao Street, Group 5, Nguyen Trai Ward, Ha Giang City.
