Opening of the 4th Book and Reading Culture Day at Thu Duc City Book Street

Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 at Thu Duc City Book Street takes place from April 19 to 26, aiming to honor the value of books, encourage reading culture in the community, contribute to building spiritual and cultural life, promote ethical values, and the tradition of studiousness of the nation.

The program also aims to create a positive response from the community, agencies, organizations and society to participate in building and developing a reading culture.

On this occasion, Thu Duc City Book Street will display and introduce works, organize events about books and reading culture, and design playgrounds with orientations about "books and digital transformation". This is also an opportunity for the young generation to understand more deeply about the glorious history of the country and the value of knowledge through books and activities related to reading culture, thereby promoting the spirit of learning and creativity, contributing to the development of the homeland.

During the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, all booths on Thu Duc City Book Street simultaneously participated in the Mini Book Fair, introducing readers to thousands of good, beautiful and useful books with many attractive promotional programs.

In addition, the technology space will open a playground for children with many contents such as robot experiences, technology games, virtual reality glasses, 3D painting magic, painting with AI applications through the air, and a colorful technology train. In addition, children will also be familiar with modern applications on mobile technology vehicles.

Also during this time, at Thu Duc City Book Street, there was an exhibition of photos with the theme "50 years of flower seasons" by photographer Tran The Phong, with 50 selected photos, capturing the spring beauty of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City.

Awarding community bookcases to 10 wards of Thu Duc City

In order to help people easily access reading, be friendly with books and contribute to developing a reading culture in the area, at the opening ceremony, the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" presented the symbol of community bookcases to 10 wards of Thu Duc City, including: Linh Xuan, Tam Binh, Binh Tho, Linh Trung, Hiep Binh, Phuoc Binh, Long Phuoc, An Loi Dong, Binh Trung Dong, Hiep Phu.
