- On April 24 (ie March 27 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Hoi Hoan commune, Van Lang district organized the traditional festival of Slao Newspaper. Attending the festival were leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the district, agencies and units of the district, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over.

The traditional festival of the Slao Newspaper of Hoan Commune is held on the 27th day of the third lunar month every year to preserve, maintain and promote the cultural identity of the locality. The organization of the festival aims to contribute to educating the historical traditions of the homeland and country; building and developing culture associated with the Vietnamese people; bringing to the people the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm in competing in labor production, economic development, building a prosperous and happy life; contributing to the successful implementation of economic, cultural and social goals in 2025.
